Business Development Manager

Mani Wonders Inc. is an emerging brand of product design that opens a niche in the space of fashion technology. The precision lifestyle products are designed in Toronto and are manufactured and distributed worldwide. At Mani Wonders Inc., we believe in making products that bring simplicity and inspiration to your everyday life.

We are seeking a Business Development Manager to join our Toronto team full time. The incumbent will play a multi-faceted role in establishing new global business and maintaining client relationships.


 

Responsibilities:

  • Build and cultivate effectively B2B partnerships through building relationships with current and new contacts
  • Identify and assess client interests, challenges and needs; prepare and present appropriate proposals and contracts to close additional opportunities
  • Strong focus on growing your assigned book of business and integrating new clients
  • Establish and schedule follow-up appointments, account reviews, and phone meetings with clients
  • Be the master of your sales cycle start to finish
  • Customer focused – enjoy working with them and solving their problems
  • Achieve/Exceed monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales targets and performance objectives
  • Participate in weekly Sales/Pipeline Review
  • Typical of any start-up, the ability to navigate ambiguity and mitigate it with creativity is crucial. With ambiguity comes the opportunity to develop new processes and build a solid infrastructure
  • Ensure that management is kept up-to-date with project status and all relevant information related to daily activities
  • Provide administrative support to the management team

 

Requirements:

  • An Upbeat, solution-oriented person who is driven and looking to work with great people
  • Track record of success with a short and long sales cycle
  • Post-secondary degree in sales, marketing, media, public relations or related field
  • Minimum one (1) year sales background or sales internship
  • Access to a reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license
  • Mastering MS Office Suite, social media platforms and current trends
  • Sales Software (Salesforce CRM) knowledge a plus
  • Superior customer service skills, professional attitude and appearance
  • Excellent relationship management and credibility building skills
  • Strategic/creative thinker and Results-oriented sales person
  • Excellent presentation, written and oral communication skills
  • Strong business acumen
  • A positive, autonomous and proactive attitude, with an entrepreneurial spirit
  • Reliable, independent and able to work flexible hours with minimal supervision or direction
  • Positive, interpersonal friendly behavior with outstanding verbal and written communication skills

 

Compensation:

  • This is a paid for performance opportunity. 100% Commission based role
  • Recurring Commission
